# Henry Meds pricing: what the $179 plan actually buys, and what it does not

Henry's headline price is real, but it buys a daily liraglutide injection rather than the weekly semaglutide most people are shopping for — that one costs $297.

Henry Meds is a high-volume compounding operation with a narrow menu and, in one corner of it, the lowest annual price we have found. It is also the provider whose headline figure is most often quoted against the wrong drug, including in places that ought to know better.

## $179 is liraglutide, not semaglutide

The number in the advertising buys compounded liraglutide. Liraglutide is a GLP-1, it works, and it has an approved branded ancestor in Saxenda. It is also injected every single day.

Compounded semaglutide — the weekly injection almost everyone means when they say they want a GLP-1 — is $297 a month here. That is not hidden: both figures sit on Henry’s own programs page, which has not changed since December 2025. The lower one is simply the one that travels.

Neither price is bad. $297 for weekly semaglutide with the visit, the medication and the injection kit included is competitive. But if you arrived expecting $179 to buy a weekly shot, the plan you are looking at involves 365 injections a year rather than 52.

## Prepayment is where the real money is

Every Henry program has two prices: billed monthly, or paid up front for the whole term. The gap is unusually wide.

Semaglutide costs $3,564 over twelve months billed monthly, or $2,364 if you pay it all at once — a saving of $1,200, about a third. Liraglutide goes from $2,148 to $1,428 on the same basis. Six-month terms sit in between. That prepaid annual semaglutide rate works out around $197 a month. It is Henry’s own floor, not the market’s — TeleZenMD publishes $129 a month on a twelve-month term and Maximus $116 per 28-day supply, both of which come to less over a year.

The trade is stated in their FAQ: stopping a multi-month plan early may require paying out the remaining balance unless the reason is medical. So the discount is real and so is the commitment. Decide which you are buying before you reach checkout.

## A narrow menu, deliberately

Henry does four things: GLP-1, phentermine, testosterone and hormone therapy, and sexual health. There is no peptide line, no dermatology, no lab marketplace.

Two details stand out inside that. The testosterone program at $129 a month is the cheapest recurring price on the whole site and includes the anastrozole and the labs, and KYZATREX gives it an FDA-approved oral option that most compounded-first providers do not carry. Against that, tirzepatide exists only as an oral tablet — there is no injectable version here at any price, which is unusual for this market.

- You want to be able to stop at any point without a balance to settle. Multi-month plans may require paying out the remainder if you discontinue for a non-medical reason.
