The first month is about building a clean routine and a baseline you can measure against — not chasing dramatic results. Here's a realistic week-by-week, plus what's worth tracking and what's worth a call to your provider.

## Set a baseline first

Before your first injection, write down where you're starting: sleep quality, energy, pain or range-of-motion, weight, training numbers — whatever your goal actually is. Most peptide effects are gradual, and a baseline is the only way to tell signal from wishful thinking.

## Week by week

**Week 1 — logistics.** The win this week is consistency: same time of day, clean technique, sites rotated, vial stored correctly. Mild injection-site redness or a little water retention is common.

**Week 2 — settling in.** The routine should feel automatic. Some people notice early shifts in sleep or appetite; many notice nothing yet, which is normal.

**Week 3 — early signal.** This is where subtle changes often show up against your baseline. Keep logging rather than relying on memory.

**Week 4 — review.** Compare to your baseline and bring the log to your provider. This is the natural checkpoint to adjust, continue, or stop.

## What to track

- The objective marker tied to your goal (weight, lifts, pain score, sleep hours).
- Side effects and injection-site reactions, with dates.
- Adherence — missed or late doses change what your results mean.

## What to flag to your provider

Persistent nausea, significant swelling, signs of infection at an injection site, unusual heart-rate or blood-pressure changes, or anything that simply feels wrong. **Early conversations are cheap; waiting is not.**

## Setting expectations

Peptides are not switches. Recovery and metabolic peptides tend to compound over weeks; longevity protocols are measured in months. If a source promises a transformation in days, that's a marketing red flag, not a benchmark.
